Limited to the first 20 students from 5-6th grade to register

Prerequisites:

  1. This session is limited to first 20 students in grade 5-6 who were not enrolled in the previous Python sessions.
  2. It is best suited for students with strong math and keyboarding skills as well as some programming experience (e.g., Scratch, code.org).

In this session of the Coding Club, we will introduce Python, a text-based programming language.  With the help of turtle graphics, we will cover many fundamental programming concepts while keeping coding visual and fun! (Note that this is a repeat of the fall 2017, spring 2018, and fall 2018 sessions.)

Check out www.turtlesrock.org/showcases.html for examples of programs created by Turtle Rock students!

Coding Club is run by Mrs. Natalya Hung, a parent volunteer with a professional computer science background.  We anticipate offering additional Coding Club sessions throughout the year.  Please email Mrs. Hung at turtlerockcoding@gmail.com with any questions.
